These one-bedroom ground-floor apartments are in one of the best locations in a quiet part of the marina, on a plaza by the fishing harbour and only a five minute walk to the golden beach. There is a swimming pool with a sunbathing area at a bar-restaurant about 100m away.

Each has a small garden with a grassed area and a coconut palm, and patio perfect for breakfast or dining in the evening, and one has a small room adjoining the bedroom, with a small child's bed and a cot, which is available on request.

Harbourside apartments A and B have slightly different facilities, so please read the more detailed description for each of them. Both are non-smoking.

Getting here

Puerto Mogan is a special place - and only four hours flying time from the UK and Ireland. There are several charter airlines offering flights to Gran Canaria including Fly Thomas Cook who fly from thirteen British airports. There are also scheduled flights from Britain and Ireland, either direct or via Madrid. It takes about 50 minutes to get to Puerto de Mogan from Las Palmas airport by car, taxi or luxury minibus.

Puerto Mogan

Puerto de Mogan is the prettiest resort on Gran Canaria and good weather is virtually guaranteed, with the south of the island getting the best of it. English is spoken in almost all the restaurants and shops, though feel free to practice your Spanish - it will be appreciated! There are also expat-owned bars where a welcome is assured.

Some local cafés regularly feature live music, but in the marina complex, where these apartments are, there are no disco bars or music after 11pm. However, further along the coast in, for example Puerto Rico or Playa del Ingles, there are plenty of opportunities for a livelier nightlife, and taxis are relatively cheap, so there's no need to miss that "grand night out".    Favourite bars and restaurants

Friday is Market Day in Puerto Mogan and is when the usually tranquil resort bursts into life. If you enjoy the bustle of a market and its crowds of visitors, you'll love it. If not, save your visit to the capital or your trip round the island for a Friday, and escape from it all!
